One winner will receive half of the lottery jackpot. A minimum payout of $50,000 is guaranteed and can go up to maximum payout of $125,000. Final jackpot will be HALF of the ticket sales revenue.

Do I have to purchase a Cash and Camping ticket in order to purchase a Summer Cash Bonus ticket?

No. Ticket purchasers are able to purchase tickets in either lottery without having to purchase tickets in both lotteries.

How long does it take to receive the ticket(s) in the mail?

No there is no tax receipt issued and the ticket is not tax deductible

Must the ticket purchaser and the name on the ticket be over the age of 18 years?

Yes

When ordering on-line, do I get an e-mail confirmation?

Yes. Official Lottery Ticket(s) will be mailed out within 2-3 weeks.

Are ticket purchasers eligible for all prizes?

Each stub is eligible for all prizes except those not received prior published cut-off dates. After each draw by numbered ticket stub, the winner will be recorded and the ticket stub will be placed back in the drum for the next draw.

Can tickets be put in the name of a corporation or business?

Yes. Should the ticket be a winner, the prize is then awarded to the corporation or business and the person who claims the prize must be able to prove they are an authorized officer of that company.

How many names can be put on a ticket?

Should a purchaser want to put more than 2 names on a ticket it is recommended that the purchaser keep record of who is involved with the purchase. The licensee will not be responsible for any conflict between joint ticket purchases. In the event of a winning ticket stub having more than one name the lottery will award the prize to any individual whose name is listed on the stub. The licensee is not responsible for resolving any disputes, which may arise from the different individuals.

How are prizes awarded?

Once draws have been completed prize letters will be mailed out within 3-4 weeks following the draw. The prize letter informs the winner of what they have won and where and when to pick up their prize. They must have the prize letter and picture I.D. to claim the prize. All prizes must be accepted as awarded there will be no cash substitutions.

Can people order from outside the province of Alberta?

Any purchaser who RESIDES OUTSIDE ALBERTA BUT IS PHYSICALLY WITHIN ALBERTA AT TIME OF PURCHASE may purchase a ticket. The ticket can be mailed to any address (even out of Alberta). The Cash and Camping Super Lottery is not responsible for provincial or state taxes imposed on a prize exported out of Alberta.

Why aren’t there any Scratch & Win prizes this year?

The Scratch & Win portion of the tickets is costly to print - so the choice was made to eliminate them for 2018. With the cost savings, we are able to offer larger cash Early Bird Prizes and provide even more support for our local partner groups.

Why don’t you accept Cash?

To better ensure the safety of our volunteers we have chosen not to accept cash this year.

Who cannot purchase tickets?

The Lottery Manager, Financial Controller, Volunteer coordinator, and employees of Stride Management Corp. will not be eligible to purchase tickets. All members of the Swan City Rotary Club are eligible to purchase tickets.
