Cash & Camping Lottery

When do tickets go on sale? 
Tickets will go on sale following the launch of the lottery on April 5, 2017 and will be sold until 9 p.m. on July 3, 2017. An Early Bird Draw will be held on May 17th, 2017 (sales cutoff May 14th at 9pm) and on June 16th, 2017 (sales cutoff June 14th at 9pm).  The Final Draw will be held on July 6th, 2017 (Final sales cutoff is July 3rd, 2017 at 9pm)

Where can you view prizes and purchase tickets? 
Our location is in the Great Northern Casino Parking lot.  10910-107 Avenue, Grande Prairie, Alberta. Click Here for map.

What methods of payment are accepted? 
Debit,  Cash, Mastercard, Visa, and Cheque. Direct Debit and Cash will be accepted at the Cash and Camping Building Only.  American Express is not Accepted

Ticket orders are processed within 48 hours but please allow 2-3 weeks for your official ticket to be mailed.

How much can you win in Scratch n’ Wins? 
Over $32,000 is available to be won in 450 Scratch n’ Win prizes. They are broken up into 5 x $1000, 5 x $500, 50 x $100, and 390 x $50.

How to Claim Scratch n’ Win? 
$50 and $100 winners can be claimed for cash at the prize display building in the Great Northern Casino parking lot up until July 3rd, 2017.  After July 3rd Scratch n’ Win prizes must be claimed by filling in the information on the back of the stub and mailing it to the address listed on the stub. $500 and $1000 winners cannot be claimed at the prize building and instead must be claimed by filling in the information on the back of the scratch portion of the ticket and mailing it to: #102, 8930 111 Street, Grande Prairie, Alberta, T8V 4W1.  $500 and $1000 winners as well as $50 and $100 winners claimed after July 3rd, 2017 will be issued a chq payment for their prize.  Scratch n’ Win prizes are valued for one full year from the final draw date and must be claimed by July 6th, 2018.

Is there an age restriction on purchasing tickets?
YES. Ticket purchasers or individual names on tickets must be 18 years of age or older.

If I am not a resident of Alberta can I still purchase a ticket? 
Yes, however the sale must take place in the province of Alberta.

Is the ticket tax deductible/ do you get a tax receipt? 
No, there is no tax receipt issued as Revenue Canada deems that the purchase of a ticket is not a donation.

Do you have to be in attendance at the draw? 
No. The top 15 winners will be contacted by phone following the draw. Early Bird Draw winner’s will also be contacted by phone.  The remaining winner’s will be contacted by mail.

Do prizes have to be accepted “as is”? 
Yes, prizes must be accepted as awarded.  Cash equivalency will not be allowed.

Are ticket purchasers eligible for all prizes? 
Ticket purchasers are eligible for all prizes.  By law your ticket must be returned to the draw barrel for any non-identical prize, meaning if the prize changes (Ex: 1st prize is different from 2nd prize) the ticket must be re-entered into the draw barrel. However, if there are 100 of the same prize, your ticket does not go back in for each of the identical prizes.

Summer Cash Bonus Draw

Do I have to order Cash and Camping Tickets to order Bonus Draw Tickets?
No, customers are eligible to purchase either tickets without the purchase of both.

How much can I win?
There will be one draw for half of the Bonus Draw Ticket sales.  There is a minimum guaranteed payout to the winner of $50,000.  The maximum prize payout is $125,000.  The winner will receive half of the actual ticket sales amount.
